For the first time ever, Our World Underwater is announcing the World of Water Lone Star State Dive & Travel Expo. You’ll find the latest and greatest offerings from major dive equipment manufacturers, training agencies, local dive centers, travel brokers and destinations. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in seminars and workshops. Last but certainly not least, this year’s expo features a film festival.
Our World Underwater – World of Water Lone Star State Dive and Travel Expo – When
With something for every scuba enthusiast, the Lone Star State dive and travel expo begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, and continues through until 6:00 p.m. The film festival takes place Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. On Sunday, January 24, the fun begins when the doors open at 10:00 a.m. The expo closes at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

The World of Water Lone Star State Dive and Travel Expo will be held at Embassy Suites Dallas, which is a combined Hotel, Convention Center, and Spa. The venue is within a convenient distance to shopping, and entertainment, bars, restaurants, and sports facilities.

In-depth workshops will be held Saturday and Sunday. Topics will be available on the event webpage. Seminars on various topics will begin Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Business symposiums for dive industry professionals, presentations from travel experts, and special underwater photo / video courses, and manufacturer clinics are just a few highlights.
Be sure to bring the kids, so they can explore the ocean world all weekend long, with special presentations for kids under 10 and age 10 to 15. Children under 10 get into the expo free, and those between 10 and 15 receive a 50% discount on admission.
Don’t miss out on the silent auction, and be sure to take a break from the action and enter to win a trip. In the past, attendees have enjoyed all-inclusive trips to Sunset House in Grand Cayman, Riviera Maya in Mexico, Atlantis Philippines, and other fantastic destinations.
