Where do marine worms live?

Marine worms tend to live under the boulders of rocky ocean floors, among algae, in the mud, in sandy mud, or in sand.  Some marine worms build tubes in which to live.  Marine worms can be found in all oceans around the world and at all depths.  Some live as plankton near the surface of the water and others can live in the deepest depths of the ocean.
