What record hyperbaric dive was completed at Duke Medical Center?

Typically, hyperbaric chambers are used for treating a number of breathing disorders such as carbon monoxide poisoning but also Decompression Sickness (DCS), a disorder that affects divers who rise to the surface too quickly.  However, in 1981, Duke Medical Center was able to complete a record dive of 2,250 feet.
