Skin Diver Magazine finally went out of print in 2002 after providing the world with 51 years of incredible value for the scuba diving industry. Originally, publication was launched as “The Skin Diver” by Chuck Blakslee and Jim Auxier, two men from southern California who were spearfishing enthusiasts. For years, the magazine consisted of 16 black and white pages with a black and green cover but over the years, Skin Diver Magazine became the premier news source that ultimate became a victim of the economy.
