What are some popular sea sponge species?

There are several types of sponges that are very popular for divers who want to get up close and personal with these beautiful creatures.  These include the tube sponge, vase sponge, yellow sponge, red tree sponge, common sea squirt, and painted tunicate.  It is not surprising that most of these sponges tend to be reef dwellers.
