What are some conditions that should be carefully examined before that individual is allowed to dive?

Just as there are physical conditions that prevent an individual from diving, other conditions would not necessarily carry the same consequences although careful medical consideration would be required.  Some of these include significant hearing loss in one ear, mid-face facture, facial nerve paralysis, migraine headaches, and Eustachian tube dysfunction.
