While it would seem that taking photographs while diving goes hand-in-hand but in truth, underwater photography can be very dangerous in a dive situation. The primary reason is that it is easy to become so enthralled with the beauty of underwater life, shipwrecks, coral reefs, and other natural wonders that full attention is turned away from a “dive buddy” or impending danger from sharks or other marine life to the photography. Underwater photography can be enjoyed while on a dive but it would be imperative for you to stay alert to the environment and any other divers.
