How soon can I dive after having a cesarean section?

The general guideline is that women should wait a minimum of eight weeks before resuming diving after giving birth via cesarean.  However, be sure to consult with your doctor before diving to be sure you are ready.  This is even more important after a cesarean birth as you need to be sure that your incision has fully healed before you dive again.
