Nudibranchs move along the sea floor or another substrate such as coral reefs or rocks. They move along on a large foot in much the same manner as a land-dwelling slug or snail, but despite this being their primary mode of transportation; nudibranchs do swim from time to time, by undulating their soft tissues for propulsion.
