La Jaula I is a wonderful reef with a wide variety of sponges and soft coral in every shape and size. Here you will find large snappers and groupers, as well as reef sharks and nurse sharks resting and patrolling the sandy bottom. Look for stingrays and eagle rays, too! Maximum depth here is thirty meters – a nice dive for intermediate divers and above.
