A long sloping reef off the Atlantic coast Crown Point area, Flying Reef is considered a drift dive with a medium level of diving difficulty. Divers can start from one of three main drop points, so the dive can be repeated many times without it becoming routine. Currents are variable, so you make experience either a slow and easy drive or a fast drift dive. However you’re traveling, watch for nurse sharks, rays, barracuda, black tip reef sharks, and eagle rays. See if you can spot the 200-year-old anchor lying on the reef.
