What scuba tank is better, aluminum or steel?

This is really a matter of personal preference and each type of tank has its own set of pros and cons.  Aluminum tanks are easier when it comes to maintenance and they are less expensive.  However, they tend to be buoyant when they get low on air.  On the other hand, steel tanks require more maintenance and cost more, but are less buoyant when low on air.
