Six eye conditions that can prevent an individual from diving include glaucoma, recent eye surgery in which the diver is still convalescing, post operative gas in the eye, visual problems from previous DCS or ACE, and any acute ophthalmic disorder. Lastly, those recovering from surgery must allow sufficient time to heal before diving again.
