Marine worms have a variety of ways to protect themselves. Some are tube worms and by living within a tube that they secrete around themselves, they are less susceptible to predators. Others rely on camouflage to hide themselves from the prying eyes of predators. Brightly colored marine worms are also camouflaged indicating that they may not taste good.
