How is an arterial gas embolism (AGE) treated?

An arterial gas embolism is treated with resuscitation, oxygen, and recompression.  Any associated injuries such as a pneumothorax are often treated secondary to the recompression therapy.  Some divers are fortunate enough to simply require bed rest and oxygen while others require more complex treatments.
