Named for its grueling hike from the beach (only 72 steps!), this site features a variety of marine life: hawksbill turtles, dog snappers, bar jacks, file clams, juvenile fish, tiger groupers, and manta rays. On occasional whale shark has also been spotted here. Reef conditions are less promising, with dead and bleached coral, but at some locations, you can still spot some outstanding formations, including star coral under the boat mooring. These formations have grown into unusual pagoda-shaped structures, whose hollow interiors house many reef creatures. You’ll find this sight in few other dive locations.
