Named for an old cargo ship that was sunk there in 1984 to create an artificial reef, this site lies at the start of the double reef system. Its currents and average depth make it a good fit for more advanced divers. In order to go into the wreck, divers should also have some training in deep sea and wreck driving. Circle the ship to see all the growth on the hull, or enter the cargo space to explore the wreck’s interior. Swimming in the area are barracuda, tarpon, tobacco fish, drumfish, and creole wrasse.
