Rocks and coral bommies teem with life, in this wonderful area which is a quick ten minute trip from Heron Island. There are caves and ledges where squirrelfish and groupers, eels, and batfish hide, along with the lush gorgonian forest that the site is named for. Look for sea snakes, turtles, and rays, too! Maximum depth is twenty meters.
